With decades of experience in several roles, Bo Shan is currently the CEO and founder of Capital Consulting, a New York-based consulting firm. Since establishing the company in 2015, Bo Shan has developed a client base across the public and private sectors, and helps optimize manager-level employee performance to achieve business goals.

Before starting his career, Mr. Shan attended Stanford University, where he earned a BA in psychology. He subsequently attended Harvard University, where he earned a PhD in sociology. Alongside this, he has experience serving as an analyst with the RAND Organization, where he worked from 1990 to 1997.

Bo Shan also spent 12 years with the U.S. Department of State, where he served as a foreign service officer and focused on the public diplomacy and political tracks within the organization. During this time, he was also called upon to work in the economic, consular, and management tracks.
